11th February 2012, SR Kg Mata-Mata, Gadong held Sambutan Maulud Nabi Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalam. The event started by marching by the students and teachers. Upper primary were seen holding the lower primary students while reciting selawat Nabi along the way. When they arrived in the school hall, it then followed by reciting of Dikir led by Ustaz Idrus and Ustaz ahmad Nasri. The event was then followed by a religious talk by Ustazah Hjh Sharinawati that highlight about our Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalam and then quizzes for all levels based from the talk. The event ended by prize ceremony given by Cikgu Soffian Bin Hj Sharbini, Assistant Headmaster to all the quiz winners. It is hoped that the events will instill the love to our prophet and religion and also remind them on the Sunnah and what to do and not to do as a muslim.
