SRKMM Teachers visit to Sports School – Staff Development

As part of our Staff Development, SRKMM Teachers led by Cikgu Suhaili , one of our PE Teachers visited the newly developed Sports School in Berakas. Equipped with the latest Technology and educators in sports we had the privileged to be shown around the school premise. The teachers even had the opportunity to have fitness test using the latest gadget and technology in the sports world. Special thank you to the administration of sports school that welcome us and gave us the tour around the school premise.

SRKMM Year 6 Students visited the Health Promotion Center

One of the exciting program catered for the Year 6 students was a school’s visit to the Health Promotion Center. The objective of the visit was to  expose the students on the importance of health and its effect on out body. It also promote good health hygiene and instill the positive attitude based on their hands on experience through the various activities around the Health Promotion Center.

SR Kg Mata-Mata had the privileged to participate in the Teacher’s Day celebration at the ICC with His Highness . It was truly a memorable events as our students performed in the choir presentation , Tunas Puteri, Pengakap Tunas and Traditional dance team. Special thank you to teachers that dedicate their time and effort to monitor and do rehearsal with the students.

School’s visit to Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka

Tuesday, 19th October 2010, our school’s teachers lead by Cikgu Noraslina visited Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka, Berakas.  Our visit was well greeted by the officers and we were given a welcoming talk by Pemangku Pengarah of Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka herself. It was truly an honour for our group. She gave talks about the activities, history and planned by Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka especially on the importance of Malay language. After we had our refreshment we were being toured to various sections which includes Creative department, Jawi , magazine and translation department. We really enjoyed our visit and managed to get ideas to add to our school which may benefit the school and especially the students.Special thank you to Cikgu Noraslina for her preparations and effort to arrange the visit.

SRKMM went to the National Sports Festival 2010

We are chosen to be one of the school to participate in the opening of the National Sports Festival 2010, With the formation of the committee for the event, the day started with the attendance of the students and teachers in the school ground. The weather is good though there was light raining in between. It was nice event, students were cheering to the Brunei III football team as they were playing in the final against Brunei IIB.

2 in 1 Event with Sambutan Hari Guru and Hari Raya altogether

With lots of activities for the teachers and the upcoming o’level exam being held in our school, we are jam packed with events that we have to squeeze it on saturday though lots of teachers will be not available as some bringing the students for the choir final and some went for marking the PSR exam papers. The event was though an enjoyable one as students present singing and dancing shows, teachers singing hari raya song and prize presentation for the teachers and there was also prizes for the best design cloth for the male and female teachers. Male teachers goes to our veteran Cikgu Hj Tengah and female teachers to Ckg Hjh Sahrinawati. Special Thank you also to Cikgu Zaiton that sponsored the teachers catering food that day. Overall it was an enjoyable and fun day for the students as well as for the teachers.

PSR Exam fever is now …

After months of preparations with intensive programs given to the students , it is now up to the students to apply their knowledge in the PSR Examination. It is the hope of the school,teachers and their parents that they will do well in the examination and continue their studies in the secondary school. Special thank you to all teachers ,administration staff and parents for their continuous and relentless efforts in guiding, facilitating and motivating the students so as they will be able to do well in the exam.
