SRKMM adopt schoolwide project – edmodo online learning

22nd February 2012, ICT Lab, headed and managed by hj kairulazhar hj rosli together with the ICT department, introduced a new schoolwide project. Edmodo Social Online Learning. By using edmodo, teachers are able to create a classroom or subject feed with the students to share assignment, quizzes , resources etc.

With online grading system, teachers are also able to grade and print their grades. With positive reinforcement like awarding badges, students feel more motivated as they can show it to their peers and parents. Each students have unique codes given and can be given to their parents to register and monitor the progress of their child learning from home. The project had been undergone pilot phase from last year and shown great feedback from the students. Teachers were also given positive feedback and we intend to use it fully for the upper primary as enrichment activities and for outreach of the parents involvements.Another 2 session will be carried out in the near future for the teachers so as to equipped them in the use of the online social learning platform.
